Luke Brumer
📍 Pretoria, South Africa
The lowdown
Handstand-loving South African deckhand who juggled Gen and Chef Joy, then triggered 'Sheetgate' by leaving soiled sheets in the bosun's bed. Quit in episode 8 before he could be fired.
Season 11: Deckhand (quit ep 8)
📍 Where are they now?
Luke is still yachting and working as a personal trainer. In June 2026, from Cape Town, he posted that he was about to join "arguably one of the best boats in the business."
