Captain Lee's Promotion Regret
What went down
Captain Lee leaned on Nico as a returning veteran, but hired EJ over him (ep 5) and chewed him out over a botched beach picnic (ep 9). Lee praised Nico's improvement after EJ left (ep 12) and promoted him to bosun at the final tip meeting (ep 14).
How it landed
At the reunion Lee called Nico 'childish' and said he would never have promoted him had he known what was happening behind the scenes.
