What went down

Josiah shushed Caroline on day one as they competed for Kate's attention (ep 1), and the friction never let up. On her final morning (ep 9), Josiah found her in bed refusing to work, and she ordered him out before leaving the boat.

How it landed

Caroline quit; Josiah defended himself at the reunion.
